Minnesota Timberwolves fans face a gut punch as Anthony Edwards is sidelined for up to two months following arthroscopic right knee surgery, potentially missing about 30 games. The team's fast 3-1 start fueled high expectations, but questions now swirl about their playoff hopes without their leading scorer and offensive catalyst. Can the Timberwolves weather this storm and keep their postseason aspirations alive? All eyes turn to LaMelo Ball, who must carry a heavier scoring load and prove the team’s blockbuster trade was the right move. His record as a primary offensive force in Charlotte suggests he’s capable, but the supporting cast will need to step up for Minnesota to maintain pace in the Western Conference. With the playoff picture still within reach, will the Timberwolves manage to hold steady until Edwards returns and reclaim their early-season momentum?
